What Makes Our Bunting Different?

We take great pride in ensuring that our bunting is made to the highest possible standards. So, whether it is for your big day, a christening celebration, a special party, or a simple BBQ in the garden you can be sure that every care has been taken to ensure that your bunting will be in perfect condition the day it arrives. And, more importantly, lasts for all your future celebrations!

All our original designs start with a spark of an idea! Inspiration comes from many sources - the buntings of yesteryear, colour trends, the seasons, an event, a theme or simply a customers suggestion. Our best selling Multi-Coloured Rainbow Bunting (pictured above in all it's glorious technicolour at Marsh Farm, Essex) evokes all the fun of the fair! 

The colours and history of the little wooden huts that adorn our North Essex Beaches provided the initial idea for our Beach Hut Bunting. Many styles and designs of material were tried and tested before we fell in love with the eclectic mix of summer oranges, sunset pinks and sea blues. 

The fabric is the most important element of our bunting. Once we have worked through the design and chosen the colours and styles to use we begin sourcing the right fabric for that bunting.

We always use 100% cotton with many of our fabrics being dyed and woven or printed to our exact specification - giving our designs a unique quality and style. Washable, non-shrink and suitable for ironing ensure they stay in perfect condition year after year. The majority of our designs have triangular pennants which are a generous 19cm wide by 20.5cm long and with only 10cm between each one, a 5m length has a whopping 16 flags! They feature double sided (two flags sewn together) pennants which are hemmed to ensure the design doesn't fray and looks as good as the day you bought it every time you use it. Made from 100% cotton and stitched to a cotton line, which is chosen to perfectly complement the design, (we don't use cheap looking header tapes) there are loops at either end for hanging or for tying lengths together if required. 

It's the attention to detail that sets our bunting apart from the rest:

1. Only 100% cotton is good enough for The Cotton Bunting Company.
2. Rolled edges that are hemmed and finished to ensure it never frays.
3. Fine stitching and woven fabrics, ensure our designs are delivered to you in perfect condition.
4. The bunting is sewn onto the same fabric we use for our bunting, never onto tape.
5. Finished with loops for easy hanging.
6. Supplied with full washing instructions so it stays in beautiful condition, and can be used at a whole host of events and occasions for years to come.
7. Choice of lengths (5m, 10m and some even in extra long 25m) to ensure that whether you are decorating an intimate gathering or large marquee we have something to suit!
